If you’ve been scrolling through my feed this week, you’ve seen a lot of things. You’ve seen the abs. You’ve seen the transformation videos. You’ve seen the jokes about demons and the “confident author” persona I wear like armor.
But today, I need to take the armor off.
Because while I’m proud of the person I’ve become in 2026, I need you to know about the person who made sure I survived long enough to become him.
It has been a strange and beautiful few days. As I sit here looking at the numbers—the thousands of new visitors to this site and the sudden surge of eyes on my work—my thoughts keep returning to the people who were already here.
When I started this blog, I wanted a place that wasn’t dictated by a character limit or a “POV” hook. I wanted a space to be an author, a creator, and most importantly, a person. To the 475 of you who have subscribed to this list over the last few months, I want to say thank you.
You’ve stayed through the quiet weeks and the experimental posts. You’ve opened the emails even when the world outside was loud.
Today, we celebrate color. We celebrate courage. We celebrate us.
Pride isn’t just a party or a parade—it’s a promise. A promise that we will keep showing up as ourselves, even when the world tries to dim our light. It’s the sacred, defiant act of saying: I am here, I am worthy, and I am not hiding anymore.
For everyone who’s ever been told they’re too much, not enough, or don’t belong—Pride is for you. For those still discovering themselves, still learning how to be soft and bold at the same time—Pride is for you. For the queer elders who paved the way and the youth just stepping into their truth—Pride is for all of us.
This community is built on love, resistance, joy, heartbreak, and the magic that happens when we refuse to be erased. And I am so proud to be part of it.
So today, whether you’re out and loud or quiet and questioning—know this: You are valid. You are loved. You are not alone.
Happy Pride, Starr-gazers. Shine bright in your truth, in your love, in your you-ness. The world is better because you’re in it.
I used to smile so no one would ask questions. But pretending you’re okay is exhausting. This is your reminder: you don’t owe anyone perfection. You’re allowed to be real. Let’s heal out loud—together.
I just want to take a second tonight—on my birthday—to say thank you. Thank you for being here. Thank you for supporting me, encouraging me, and for believing in the messages I’ve tried to put out into the world.
This past year has been the biggest year of growth I’ve ever experienced, not just for this account, but personally too. Every positive post, every piece of inspiration, every word I’ve shared—I meant every one of them. And seeing the way you have responded, connected, and carried that light forward has meant more to me than I can even put into words.
You’ve given me the gift of community. A space where positivity, kindness, and LGBTQ+ pride aren’t just ideals—they’re real, they’re celebrated, and they’re powerful.
Tonight, I’m ending my birthday with a full heart. Full of gratitude. Full of pride. Full of hope for everything we’re going to keep building together.
I love you all so much. Thank you for walking beside me through this journey. The best is still ahead—and we’re just getting started.
Cheers to another beautiful year together! — Zachary Starr
And as I look back over the past year, I’m filled with nothing but gratitude—and that’s because of you.
When I first started this journey, I never could have imagined how much this little corner of the world would grow. What began as a tiny account has blossomed into a community built on hope, inspiration, resilience, and love. Every post I’ve shared, every message of positivity I’ve written—it’s been for you. To lift you up. To remind you that no matter what this world throws your way, you are strong, you are worthy, and you are never alone.
Over this past year, I’ve poured my heart into every piece of encouragement, every moment of vulnerability, and every celebration of the LGBTQ+ community. Because visibility matters. Joy matters. You matter.
Your support, your kindness, and your belief in me have been the greatest gifts I could ever ask for. Through your comments, your messages, and simply by being here, you’ve inspired me just as much as I’ve ever hoped to inspire you. You’ve proven that even in a world that can feel heavy, light can break through when we lift each other up.
I am proud of the space we’ve created together. A space where love wins. Where authenticity is celebrated. Where being exactly who you are is not just accepted, but embraced.
As I step into this new chapter of my life, know this: my mission remains the same. To keep shining light. To keep speaking love. To keep showing up for this community that has given me so much.
Thank you for walking this path with me. Thank you for letting me share my heart with you. Thank you for believing in me—and for believing in yourself.
Here’s to another year of rising together. Loving louder. Dreaming bigger. And building a future where everyone has the space to be exactly who they are.
Every day it grows harder to remain apolitical. At a certain point, silence stops being neutral—it becomes complicity. And right now, silence isn’t an option.
I refuse to quietly witness the erosion of our fundamental freedoms. I refuse to stand by while the most vulnerable among us—the poor, the marginalized, the voiceless—are targeted and demonized. This isn’t the America we believe in. It isn’t the country we strive to be.
America’s greatness was never about slogans, blind patriotism, or misplaced faith. It was always about compassion, justice, and unity. It was about defending the right of the accused to a fair trial, no matter how uncomfortable the circumstances. It was about protecting the dignity and rights of every single human being—not because they earned it, but simply because they’re human.
If speaking up means losing followers, so be it. I stand firmly behind the belief that empathy and decency shouldn’t be conditional. If you cannot find it in yourself to feel compassion for others, regardless of labels or differences, then perhaps this isn’t the right place for you.
When we stand together, shoulder to shoulder, embracing empathy and kindness, we rise together. This unity is our true strength—not division, not fear, not the desire to see others kneel at our feet.
We are better than what’s happening right now. Let’s remember who we truly are, and let’s never stop fighting to become who we know we can be.
If aliens landed and asked me to explain human life in one sentence, I’d say:
“We are beautifully flawed beings driven by love, fear, and the endless search for meaning—forever creating, destroying, healing, and hoping, all while trying to figure out why we’re here.”
