If Self-Care Sunday is about hitting the reset button, I think I took that literally this week.
First, I have to talk about yesterday. Valentine’s Day.

I woke up this morning to an inbox that was absolutely overflowing. To everyone who sent messages, DMs, and gifts—thank you. Truly. This community (the Starr-Verse) has a way of making me feel incredibly seen, and reading through your notes was the best kind of self-care I could ask for. My heart is full.
The Sunday Reset (New Look Edition)
Since we are resetting for the week, I decided to freshen up the exterior, too. I finally got a haircut. We went a little shorter on the sides to let the curls do their thing on top. It feels lighter, cleaner, and ready for spring.
But here is the controversial part: The Scruff.

I’ve been letting the facial hair grow out a little bit. Usually, I keep it clean, but I’m experimenting with the texture. I honestly haven’t decided if I’m going to keep it or shave it off tomorrow morning. It feels a little rugged, but I don’t know if it’s “me” yet.
Checking In
Self-care is about feeling good in your skin—whether that means a fresh fade, a Sunday workout, or just relaxing in your favorite grey sweatpants.
I’m spending the rest of the day soaking up this gratitude (and maybe doing a little more laundry). I hope you take a second today to do something for you.
Question of the Week:
Be honest—what’s the verdict on the facial hair?
A) Keep the scruff. 🧔♂️
B) Baby face only. 👶
Let me know in the comments.

P.S. We are ALMOST there!
Speaking of gratitude, I have amazing news. We hit 74% funded on Christopher’s campaign this weekend!.
We have raised $885 of the $1,200 goal. That means we are less than $400 away from fully restoring his smile. If you haven’t chipped in yet, let’s push this over the finish line today.
