I woke up this morning feeling… lighter.
Yesterday was a lot. When I hit “publish” on the story about Quinn, I honestly wasn’t sure what to expect. Part of me was terrified. Part of me just wanted to get it off my chest.
I didn’t expect thousands of you to show up.
I spent last night reading through the comments (well, as many as I could before I had to tap out for my own sanity). Seeing so many of you share your own stories of loss, of survival, and of the people who saved you… it was overwhelming in the best possible way.
So, before we do anything else: Thank you. Thank you for holding that space for me. Thank you for letting me be human.
But today? Today is for the Reset.
We have an “emotional hangover” to cure, and it’s officially Sunday. That means the agenda is very short:
Coffee (an unreasonable amount).
A light gym session (just for the endorphins, nothing heroic).
Ignoring my email inbox until Monday.

It is also officially February 1st.
We survived January. The “month of love” (and discount chocolate) has arrived. I have some plans for this month—some fun content, some updates on the next book, and maybe a few surprises for Valentine’s Day.
But we don’t need to worry about that today.
Today, I’m just grateful to be here. I’m grateful for the body that carries me through the days, and I’m grateful for this community that carries me through the nights.
Go drink some water. Call a friend. Take a nap. Be kind to yourself today—you earned it.
We will ride at dawn tomorrow.
