Daily Note: The Art of the “Good Tired”

There is a specific kind of quiet when you’re up early for class. It’s not always easy to drag myself out of bed, but I’ve realized that discipline is a form of self-care.

Sitting in class, focusing on the future, and getting the brain firing before the sun is fully up… it sets the tone. It reminds me that I’m building something here, not just in the gym, but in my life.

After class, I needed to clear the static. I took a detour through the park.

I think we underestimate how much just walking fixes things. No headphones, no podcast, just the sound of boots on the ground and the wind in the trees. This was my “Wellness” moment today. Just existing. Just breathing.

It’s funny how small you feel standing next to big trees, and how comforting that actually is.

Then, the switch flipped.

I went from “Zen Mode” to “Work Mode.” Today was a heavy lift. I wasn’t feeling particularly motivated when I walked in, but that’s usually when the best workouts happen. You just put your head down and do the work.

I actually filmed the routine for my new YouTube channel.

If you want to see what my actual training looks like, go give it a watch.

Now, I’m back home. The hoodie is on. The lights are dim.

I’m sitting here with my homework spread out on the desk, feeling that specific kind of “Good Tired.” You know that feeling? When your body aches a little, but your mind is calm because you know you didn’t leave anything in the tank today.

That is my definition of Wellness. It’s not always bubble baths. Sometimes it’s waking up early, working hard, touching grass, and going to bed exhausted but satisfied.

How did you spend your Wednesday? Did you find a moment of peace, or a moment of work?
