About

Hey there, I’m Zachary Starr—and if you’ve found your way here, I’m genuinely glad you did.

I’m a writer, poet, and content creator who believes in the healing power of storytelling. I don’t claim to have all the answers—honestly, most days I’m still figuring things out myself. But I’ve learned that even in our hardest seasons, there’s beauty to be found in honesty, connection, and the quiet strength of surviving.

This space is built from that belief.

My work is rooted in vulnerability—because for a long time, I didn’t feel safe being vulnerable. Life handed me a lot of weight early on, and it took time, therapy, and the love of a few incredible people to help me rebuild. Now, I use my voice to reach those who might be feeling what I once felt: lost, unseen, not enough.

You won’t find performative positivity here. What I offer is real: the kind of inspiration that acknowledges pain, the kind of hope that comes with scars. I write for the ones who are still getting out of bed even when it hurts, for the ones who carry silent battles and still choose kindness, and for the ones who need a reminder that their story matters—even if they’re still in the messy middle of it.

On this blog, you’ll find reflections on growth, mental health, self-worth, queer identity, and the quiet power of simply continuing. Sometimes I write poems. Sometimes I write long, rambling thoughts that spill straight from the heart. And sometimes, I just share a line or two that helped me through the day, in case it helps you too.

This isn’t about being perfect. It’s about being present. Being human. And doing our best—together.

Thanks for being part of my journey. I hope this becomes a small light in your sky, the way others once were for me.

Keep going. Keep growing.
And always—keep looking up.
